ORGANIC Chocolate Cake? No, just mulch.

Sweet Peet

Sweet Peet is an organic, versatile and SAWEETTTTT treat for your soil and plants. I'm not calling Sweet Peet organic just for the hell of it... it is 100 percent organic due to its contents which contain virgin wood products, manure and plant fiber (that be it!).

What makes it different than many other mulches and soil amendments is that it contains zero human waste, absolutely no leftover construction material/junk wood (pallets) and no chemicals what-so-ever!

The secret behind this ever so magical mulch is that unlike bark or wood mulch, it does not steal the nitrogen from the soil, but instead it feeds nitrogen in a slow release form to your plants!

Want to hear something even more amazing ( but slightly boring )? Sweet Peet offers a series of multiplications of these super beneficial and necessary soil organisms ( mycorrhizae, rhizobacteria and earthworms), among others. The results in the increased production of glomalin (had to google this) which happens to be the "glue" which binds soil particles together. So, what's the point? Well, Sweet Peet just baked some magical goodness for ya! You get to enjoy that gorgeous tilth of 'chocolate cake goodness' (super dark, cake like soil) which plants love.

How is this stuff made you might ask?
Sweet Peet is created after going through a series of composting stages in which high temperatures are applied. The intense heat destroy's all weeds, which prevents those suckers from contaminating your garden beds! Here is where it gets its name... It has a chocolaty dark brown color with a cake like texture that smells sweet with a slightly earthy smell. Sounds amazing right? You would never believe you are working with manure!
